About Us
The Company has been established as a fully own subsidiary of the Powerful Management Services Group with the sole intention to assist to the country’s agriculture and export sectors towards its sustainable development and is functioned as a BOI project.
Objectives
Those are very vital to the economy and social development of the country and could be mentioned as follows,
- Cultivation of short term, medium term and long term crops to enhance the food production locally in order to narrow the erosion of foreign exchange
- Putting up a broad spared export network in assisting to sustain the country’s export sector
- To establish an all round service mechanism to the farmer community spared through out the country in order to prevent them from their major issues such as irregular supply of inputs, constant price fluctuations over their products and lack of modern technology.
- To give values to the farmers lives gathering them towards a national task.
- Assisting to the government up to some extend towards its effort to eliminate the poverty by way of local agriculture development. Creating a large no of direct and indirect Employment opportunities island wide
Goals
Putting up a solely agro based, export oriented island wide spread company to fullfil its goals productively and sustainably
Aiming these tasks, the company has planed to put up following, - Putting up its head office at No: 1009/9, Dharshana Mawatha, Pannipitiya Road, Battaramulla.
- Establishing main Tissue culture laboratory at the industrial zone – Godagama
- Putting up an other Tissue culture lab at the Head Office premises – Battaramulla towards producing mushroom seeds ( Both can’t be established together due to possible fungus infections.)
- Ware house/ export and local handling unit at the industrial zone- Godagama.
- Company owned 300 acres model farm at Thanamalwila in Monaragala District.
- 5 acres seeds producing farm at Udawalawa (near by the main farm).
- To open an island wide farmer assisting centers covering each AGA division (initially 17 districts would be covered)
- To cultivate at least 250 acres owned by farmers in each AGA division with the collaboration of the farmers.
- Putting up a food processing plant at Udawalawa (Adjoining to the seeds producing farm)
- Establishing an Aerophonics system potato seeds producing center at Hawaeliya in the Nuwraeliya district.
